Welcome to Kissimmee Prairie State Park. Every site has water and electric hookups. Sorry no see hookup but the here is a dump station on site. Also has "dark night" Astro pad area with 6 slots. No lights allowed unless red light. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Beautiful! So quiet. The reviews are right; the road coming is rough but just take it slow. Sites are a little closer than some parks but still better than an rv park. Sites 1-12 are pretty shaded. I recommend coming when it is cool as it will be a swamp sauna when it's warm. This is real Florida, not a glamorous resort. If you come looking for real Florida, you'll be happy.

Amazing view of the sky and stars. Nice and quiet and decent facilities for showers and bathrooms, etc. Nice walking trails but beware many of them are open sun.

This is Kissimmee Prairie State park, not sure why title is not showing the name. Beautiful park, easy access sites, well maintained. A few are big rig friendly in length but not height! Lots of low branches. Saw deer, turkey, rabbit, hawks, and raccoon. An oasis in the middle of ‘nowhere’. 4 miles of gravel road but well worth it. We were there in late May so quite empty.

The good: really lovely tent with clean and comfy beds. It was pet friendly park for our dog. They offered a small fridge, a coffee machine with pods and mugs to use, two portable hammocks to hang on the deck, a picnic table, a fire pit, a BBQ grill, and two Adirondack chairs. We saw deer, birds, fireflies, and bunnies. We enjoyed playing the charade game they had in the room as well. The bad: the reservations make it hard to know if you are booking tents beside each other and they will not change even when the tent by us was empty our entire stay, so one of our party was in the woods and the other out in the open sun. Then they offer a fan but it hangs in the center of the tent and points down not cooling you in bed. They offer a split air con unit but it points mid tent at a wall
