October Ridge Resort

Enjoyed our stay in the old loggers cabin. Fishing is great! A very nice get-away from traffic & city rush. Being from Texas, we have experienced lake, river, costal & deep sea fishing 🦈 but had never fished for Walleye, Northern or bluegill (perch were always bait for us😁). We really enjoyed the fishing AND the fish! Sara has beautiful flower boxes with petunias on the cabin windows. We have new friends that we look forward to seeing every year! God Bless y'all, Sara & Scott! Thank y'all for a fishing get-away that we look forward to going back to annually AND I thank God for our new friends! ... Scott & Sara really go above & beyond to help when/if it is needed!

October Ridge is a great place to spend summer or fall. The fishing and hunting are great. The cabins are clean with all the amenities I need. I look forward to my annual trip there for months in advance. Scott and Sara are the best!. You'll love it.

Beautiful place with great people. We have had several family vacations on the lake and have enjoyed every moment. My husband and group of friends have also been on one of the Fully Guided Bear hunts. They tell everyone interested to call Scott. If you are looking for a wonderful place to relax, fish or hunt, October Ridge is perfect!

One of the best family friendly resorts I have ever been to. Great customer service, sandy beach, cozy and clean cabins - boat launch is close, great fishing - even off the dock while others are swimming! Best of all - it's a nice quiet getaway to unwind, destress, and enjoy the Northwoods. The owners are amazing and friendly. We'll definitely be back!!

Sarah and Scott are the best! My family and I have been going to Island Lake for at least 35 years. We found October Ridge about 7 or 8 years ago. We will always go to Island Lake. And we will always stay with the Fahey's. Fishing is pretty good too.
