Northshore Bay Resort

We had a need to come to the area for just one night and this was the perfect place. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. The cabins are rustic and charming. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was stocked with much nicer pans, dishes than you usually find in small resorts. The weather didn't cooperate with us so we didn't get to enjoy the beach but it was clean and available. Will definitely recommend!

My husband and I stayed in the Lakeside cabin while we were there. The cabins are the original 75 year old log cabins with upgraded amenities added (appliances, shower, etc).|The proprietors Greg and Mary are awesome. The lake is large and the fishing was good.||We rented both the cabin and the boat. ||Nice, quiet trip. Good to know - there are not any TV's in the cabins and they're working in getting wifi. It truly is a great time to "unplug".

Great old-fashioned resort with nostalgic log cabins to relax and enjoy 'being at the lake' and/or fishing. Every is clean, well kept and nicely furnished. The hosts are fabulous and the lake views can't be beat! This was our third year here and we are already booked for next year!

I stayed at Northshore Bay Resort in Spring 2025 and it was wonderful. Our cabin had a perfect view of the lake, it was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed including Wi-Fi and hot water. The fishing was awesome, and the resort was close to other lakes and rivers that we also fished at. We were also able to rent a boat for the day, and the kayaks were available to us during our entire stay. The fish house was also very clean! I'd definitely recommend this resort to any family or fishing group wanting to get away to somewhere peaceful.

Cabins are clean, rustic, old timey and exactly what we were looking for. The view of the water is peaceful and relaxing. The cool breeze under the bright stars provides the best setting for a night at the fire pit. There is 0 light pollution. The boats are nice and comfortable for all day fishing and the Strickland’s can provide some great tips if needed. They also have paddle boards which were a blast! The Strickland’s go above and beyond to make sure you have everything that you need and that you are comfortable. Denise, Michael, Zach, Shania, Stella and Ansley are all so welcoming and accommodating! It’s refreshing to see there are still places where kids can run around, play and be safe!
