Oceans Edge Resort & Marina

Nice hotel, clean, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Shuttle downtown was a plus! We had great service at the restaurant! My only negative with hotel would be…they should add privacy screening to their decks. You are sitting right on top of your neighbor!! My biggest complaint is with TripAdvisor. They never disclosed there would be a $52 per day resort fee. I thought I had prepaid my entire balance only to get an unexpected bill at checkout. Had I known I may have picked a different hotel.

Positive: Beautiful resort hotel with 6 pools and great amenities like free shuttle into Key West and first come first serve kayaks and group activities. Very clean! Great staff! We love plan to stay here again Negative: This resort isn?t walking distance to Key West, but they off free shuttle every hour all day. This hotel was also near the airport flight path, but I only noticed that one of our mornings

My girlfriend and I stayed at Oceans Edge for three nights and had a great experience. The staff were always incredibly kind and helpful, and the resort itself is beautiful and very relaxing. We loved our room — it was clean, comfortable, and the balcony had an amazing view that we spent a lot of time enjoying. The pools were always clean and well maintained.The tiki hut was excellent, and Drew was especially great. We used the paddle boards and would definitely recommend it. We ate at Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen for most of the trip because the food was excellent, and it was great having it right on the property. When booking this hotel, especially at this price point, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. The property truly has the potential to be a 5 star experience, the location and views are beautiful, but the lack of care in the room was very disappointing. The balcony windows, which should have showcased the stunning view, were heavily smudged and dirty, taking away from what should have been a highlight of the stay. There was also noticeable dust throughout the room, giving the impression that it had been rushed or only partially cleaned. For the cost of this room, that level of upkeep is simply not acceptable. Beautiful resort. Very friendly staff. We stayed for seven days. House keeping kept our room well supplied and refreshed. Felt safe inside resort. Pools are very clean and warm. Plenty of outdoor seating. Restaurant on site is great. Love the amenities. We did a guided mangrove kayak tour with Liz, Felix and Anela and absolutely loved it. They were very informative about local wildlife and vegetation. Highly recommended doing this adventure.
