Oceanfront Inn on Hutchinson Island

We stayed in room #19 - although not completely renovated room, it was clean & bed & sheets were comfortable. The view is amazing from the Atlantic building. The restaurant was great with great service! Only thing is I wish there was a Florida resident discount option. BUT to come from west coast to visit family in Ft Pierce for the weekend it was perfection! Will stay here again next time I take the 2 1/2 hour drive over so we can safely have our jetty rum runners and not drive!

I booked this hotel by expedía , on Friday and at 10 minutes of making the reservation I check my trip on Google maps, which I find with a lot of bad opinions, I immediately call Expedia to change my hotel since I was going to go with two children. Expedia says to contact the hotel for my refund. I talk to the operator and make sure that the opinions were not so that the hotel was in conditions as shown in the images. Then I come to my stay at the hotel, when I entered the room there was an unbearable smell of cigarettes, it was not clean I attach the images. I immediately call the hotel because there is no representative of the same in the place and they tell me that they are sorry that someone is going to call me on my cell phone. We stayed in august 2025. We love finding places like this with character and really don’t like newer places. This had a fantastic location close to everything we wanted to go to. The bar area downstairs had live music and a cute little beach bar. We loved it so much we are going back again next week. Thank you Sam our bartender for being so entertaining and for making amazing painkillers.

The location is awesome! The bed is extremely comfortable! Shower had good pressure and got warm fast! The only reason for the 4 star review is the room is a little worn but that didn’t put a damper on the trip. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and had a nice updated tv to watch at night. Would absolutely return. Nice area!

Don't do it! The reviews must be made up here. My husband and I read the reviews before coming here for our anniversary week. It is dirty, loud and infested with roaches and Palmetto bugs. I live in florida and know that this is a serious infestation when they're crawling all over the room and so many. This place needs to close down and tent the entire place for fumigating. We had to scramble to find a hotel late at night and drive 20 miles to the only one that would answer. Yes the manager called to apologize and give us a refund, the point is, this should never happen. When it's this bad, close down and tent it off.
