Room was small, but very clean. The owners were so nice. We stayed one night at the Shilo Inn dump and asked them if they had space to salvage out anniversary trip. They accommodated us, and bent over backwards to take care of us. Know that the room we stayed in was small, but very clean and they were so nice. We'll stay there again, and maybe get a little bigger option. I recommend based on the service and cleanliness.
This place is awesome! I got a room for $114.00 for a night and the rooms are nice and clean. They have updated the rooms with new floors and smart TVS. Easy check in and out. The best part is they are a ten minute walk from the beach, Or you can just drive there in two. The trails leading to the beach are over the dunes and through the thickets. It's like walking through the world of Tolkien.
Dirty, uncomfortable, and hassle for a refund-never again. From the outside it looks cute, but our upstairs room over the office felt awkward and unsafe. Inside it reeked, with dead bugs in the windowsills, grease on the stove, sticky gunk by the bed, and hair/stains in the sheets. Martin, who checked us in, was polite and even came up to clean, but admitted “it’s hard to find good help.” He promised me a refund that never came. The property ignored calls and emails, and Booking.com was no help either. I left and stayed at the Canterbury Inn instead—spotless and professional. Never again at this place. Update-after calling Ocean Shores resorts again I got a hold of Martin who said he did not receive anything from booking.com. I told him I had an email from booking.com. That says unfortun
Me and my best friend of 30+ years had a few days getaway. Rooms are very clean and welcoming. Plenty of toiletries and coffee. Centrally located within walking distance to downtown. Very kind staff. Felt very safe and peaceful.
We tried something new because our regular hotel (the Canterbury Inn) was booked, so we decided to try the Ocean Shores Resort. It’s a little motel I’ve passed by many times. From the outside it’s painted in spring colors and looks cute and clean, but as soon as you pull in, you know something is off. I wasn’t expecting a “resort,” just a clean, remodeled motel.||We arrived an hour before check-in and there was a note on the door saying the office was closed. I called and they let us in early. Martin checked us in and was nice, but the office smelled like a pet store. I had to hold my breath.||Our room was upstairs over the office, which felt awkward and unsafe. The room itself stunk. One window had a dead bee in the sill, the other a dead fly. The kitchen had grease on the stove and refri
