Ocala Sun RV Resort

We have stayed here the past two years for Jan-March. The rates are affordable, the sites are large, and the laundry and bathrooms exceptionally clean! Edith and Tillman are great managers and very helpful. I will not mark down the park for location because of the road construction. It’s in a great spot, just lots of traffic due to road work. Hopefully it will be completed soon!

This year was the 2nd winter I spent at Ocala Sun RV Resort not that I would really call it a resort. The pictures posted are old and the place is definitely not kept up to the standards of an RV Resort. The bathhouse by the pool was closed all winter. The Manager’s house was closed all winter as well since it’s full of black mold.|They never heated the pool until it started warming up in March while other RV Resorts keep theirs heated all winter regardless. The grounds are very drab all winter as they don’t do anything to keep them looking nice like fertilizer or anything. For me it was just the convenience to be near family. The road traffic is a nightmare as well but is convenient to the highway. The attached photo is how brown the grass was all winter.

Great place to stay for long or short. We overnighted and found the grounds and facilities immaculate. Restrooms were very clean as was the well appointed laundry. Everyone was friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I are so excited to be living at Ocala Sun Rv Resort! Its much better than where we were living before! The restrooms make us feel safe and private! And they are cleaned daily! Sites are large and clean! Some of the amenities are but not limited to heated in ground pool, pickle ball. Bocce ball, horse shoe toss, there is a clubhouse with a kitchen for the residents and guests to use when its not being used for the events, a pool table, puzzles, books, public TV, some toys for little ones like legos, and a laundry room... The sites include basic cable, wifi, trash pick up before 10 am, water, and some have a concrete pad. There is a security gate at the entrance and exit. Staff is very friendly and so are the other residents and guests! The clubhouse hosts events for the guest

Staff at the front desk is absolutely awesome. Traci in particularly has taken really good care of me,. Even checked on me when I was out of town to make sure I hadn’t forgotten about my reservation to see when my arrival date would be. When it comes to taking care of the customer, Traci is top shelf. Most should take a page out of Traci’s playbook when it comes to being personable as opposed to so many these days. Well done Traci.😎
