Ocala Cove Motel

I stayed for two nights the motel was aged but habitable. The staff was very nice and accommodating, communication was very good. The parking was a little tight but manageable. The room could use some renovations and the towels were small. The space was good, sporting a large refrigerator, queen bed, small kitchenet, comfrey Chair, Large desk area and TV. The A/C worked but I didn't see a heater. The bathroom was dated, a little beat up but had a new toilet great water pressure and super hot water. WIFI was good, the bed was good for me but bring your own pillow they were a little flat. I slept good nonetheless. Overall you can't beat the price and despite the dated look was a safe and good place to stay. I would stay again if I ever come back to the area.

When I arrived, upon entry to the office (which was locked in daytime hours--it is NOT a nice area) the front desk clerk ignored me for about 5 minutes; when he did acknowledge me, I told him that I had a reservation-- he responded quite rudely that he had "no vacancies", I said that I had a confirmed booking & that I had called several days prior to arrival to ask for a "pet free" room, since I am allergic to cats & dogs. (No one ever bothered to call me back to answer this question). This seemed to make him irate--no apology offered, but he said the one room he had available didn't have pets in it prior. He told me (and my friend) that we could go and look at the room. The room was shabby, with no toilet paper & a bag of cornflakes left behind by previous guest in one of the upper cab

We stayed here for 2 weeks February 2025. Sam the owner/manager is great. He's always willing to help. The room is very clean and cute with a large refrigerator and nice chairs to sit in. From Vicki and Jim Farrand

Great room. It was clean and comfortable. The place was quiet even at night. The owner was super friendly and the check in and out process was super easy. The only downside was the towels were small but I will be staying here again and I will bring my own towels.
