For the money they want. I think it was a rip off the room is cold and dank, and it just feels more like a cell than a room. Other than that, I didn’t get the room. I was just visiting somebody. I think my friend told me they paid $800 a night I would rather have slept on the that’s how Warm and welcoming that place. Was.

I know San Bernardino has a less than friendly reputation but it's really not as bad as it's portrayed, Oasis is a very quiet hotel doesn't get many guests perhaps due to the roaches it has, I was in a room that had zero cold water and the water was so hot you could literally boil shrimp in it needless to say showering was a ridiculous challenge. I could not let the water hit me directly it was that hot., and another room I stayed in which was right next to the hot water room had no freaking hot water and it wasn't be cause the valves were shut. They were both open. There are no bath tubs so forget the lavender epsom salt with the scented candles and bubbles while relaxing in a hot bath. Rooms have bare minimum and there is wifi but you can't use it even if you connect to it it sucks. Ho

My fam managed this motel in the early 80s. Didn’t realize that it was an iconic property. Missed the days of nearby Santa’s village and learned about sad realities of life at a young age. I guess after 40 years some things never change.

Oasis motel is one of those old and worn-out motels that has been around for decades near the historic route 66. The overall ambiance feels sketchy, and the rooms appear to be in a state of disrepair with dirty mattresses and stained pillow.
