Oak Ridge Resort

I hesitate to write a review because I don't want my secret gem of a resort to be known. We just got back from our 4th trip there this year! We have been going to Oak Ridge Resort for 10-15 years, multiple times a year. The new owners took over about 4 or 5 years ago and have really updated the cabins, the grounds and the overall appearance. Their cabins are immaculate , the dock is wonderful, the swimming pool is pristine! Over the years we had stayed at other resorts and none were anywhere close to Oak Ridge in amenities, cleanliness and friendliness.. The owners have become great friends and family. I had to laugh at the one bad review I saw on here, first because spelling matters and the inability to use proper spelling usually is a red flag of the intelligence of a person which

Great place to stay and relax! The owner's of the resort are very kind and helpful! Very convenient access to the lake, they have their own boat docks, and are near a couple of large marinas. Pet friendly! Many great memories have been made here and hope to be back soon!

Our family and friends have been coming to Oak Ridge Resort at Bull Shoals Lake for what feels like 25+ years, and it continues to be the highlight of our summer. Every year, we rent all 8 cabins and essentially take over the resort—it has become a very important part of our summer. The cabins are always exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the amenities are perfect for a relaxing and fun-filled stay. The dock is a favorite spot, with great areas to swim, fish, or just enjoy the peaceful lake views. As well the kids love to unwind one last time in the pool before bed each night. What really sets Oak Ridge apart is the ownership’s commitment to hospitality. The resort continues to improve and each year there is something new that they have updated, or improved. Our stay at the Oak Ridge Resort at Bull Shoals was absolutely perfect! The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped—ideal for both family outings and large groups. The amenities were top-notch, from the clean pool to the easy dock access, and the property is dog-friendly, which made it even better for our family. Pat and Stephanie, the owners, treat every guest like part of their own family, and their warm hospitality has made this trip a cherished part of our annual summer traditions. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway! Definitely a five star stay, no questions asked!!

We have been coming to Bull Shoals lake for the past 20 years. The last 3 years we have stayed at Oak Ridge Resort. It is the best place we have found on the lake. Pat and Stephanie are great hosts. Always very accommodating, friendly and want to ensure you are having a great time while you are staying with them. While we were there earlier this summer, Stephanie went out of her way to track down something my wife needed so she did not have to run all the way into town. The rooms and the resort are always clean and the boat dock is very nice. We love how Oak Ridge feels like home and look forward to coming back every year!
