Oak Hollow Campground

Oak Hollow is a lovely "hidden gem," though more of a 4-star experience due to the site layouts. While the proximity to the lake is a huge bonus and the surrounding area is beautiful, the campsites for travel trailers are quite tight and uneven. If your rig is over 25 feet, expect a challenge getting leveled. Key Considerations: • Hookups: Water is shared between two sites; you may need a splitter and over 50 feet of hose if the connection is on the opposite side. • Terrain: The hilly landscape makes placing a picnic table difficult. • Noise: Its proximity to the freeway means some engine noise from locals, though it isn't a dealbreaker. The office staff at the campground has always been amazing. They have become like family to us after staying there for the past 4 years.||Belle went above the call of duty for us. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. 10/10 for her. Her extra effort meant more than she will know to me and our family. Thanks again.||Also, the office staff drives by every hour or so checking on the campers. The sites are always well maintained. I feel very safe there as the gates are locked at a certain time each night.

Great price for a nice campground! Lake is pretty. Everything is kept up nicely. Mike is great to work with. Perfect location in between Winston Salem, Greensboro, Archdale areas. Good restaurants and attractions nearby.

Been hanging out around here since I was i kid. Great place to get away quick from the fast paced high point atmosphere and unwind. The pictures I have recently shown are from the sheltered picnic area

Spent the last two days at this campground. It was a last minute trip meeting family that came from down south. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating. I have stayed in many campgrounds and this was the quietest one I have ever slept in. This is definitely a hidden gem!
