This place is a SCAM! DO NOT BOOK this rental! We used Expdeia to book so it had to be legit right? NOPE! We drove 7.5 hours to NYC from Cleveland just to find that this is a private club and not a hotel at all. They're using the 129 W.56th St. Address. The people that run the place met a group of 5 different couples outside (ourselves included) to tell them the place doesnt have a hotel at all and is a private club. They then text you and ask for a $600 security deposit via Zelle or another payment method using the Friends & Family option. They tell you to drive to an alternate key pickup location after paying. This place is a scam. I booked through hotels.com and on the day of check in I got a call from a random.numner requesting a $600 zelle as the deposit and I needed to send it marked as "friends and family". I was also told there is no one on site and I would be let in remotely. I explained that this made me uncomfortable and requested to meet someone at the property to at least verify that it is real and was told I would not receive the address until I paid the deposit. Super sketch and currently battling hotels.com for a refund because I obviously did not send some random guy a $600 zelle as a "hotel deposit". Avoid this place at all costs!! Also watch out for for all the fake 5 star reviews, they are all posted on the same day likeley by the owner himself.

It’s a scam!!!! Same thing happened to me today! They requested a wire transfer or Zelle in the amount of 600 dollars and they asked for license, credit card photos and signature. I’m currently battling with American Express because I made the reservation through American Express travel. I’m reporting it to the police because the scammers have my information. I’m terrified.

DO NOT BOOK. Complete scam. Supposedly a 3-hour check-in window. But the worst is asking for a Zelle payment for Deposit. I stupidly paid them (after confirming with Orbitz that it was legit) but still got scammed. Haven't seen the money yet. DON'T BOOK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

We were visiting from Germany. Fabulous bed, the sheets and mattress is most important I think that most hotels don’t care about. It’s very central I totally recommend
