Norwood Inn Statefare Grounds

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. It was absolutely disgusting, didn't look like they had ever truly cleaned the room/bathroom, and it REEKED of smoke even though they have no smoking signs up everywhere. There was a dead bug on one of the walls, the bed sheets looked gross, as did the pillow cases. The microwave and mini fridge didn't look like they'd touched it with any sort of cleaning supplies ever, either. I would not ever recommend this place. As soon as I saw the room, I went back to the front desk and asked for an immediate refund and left. No one should have to stay at a place so uncared for.

I’m in the process of moving to Indianapolis for work and to be closer to my boyfriend. His current living situation isn’t ideal, so when I work, we usually stay at whichever budget hotel we can find. After a horrible experience at another hotel the week before, I expected a repeat — but I was pleasantly surprised here. I had read the reviews before booking and was impressed with how different my stay actually was. The room was clean, I saw no bugs, and there were no ashes or odors in the room as others had mentioned. Overall, it was a comfortable and affordable experience. Positive: Disregarded my issues, never contacted me back, and i made the room habitable, that to which it was not when rented to. So I am going to submit a cleaning and service bill of 1000$ to the attorney general, if you don't contact me back. Negative: Nasty, frozen fridge, coffee ilean lobby never Cleaned the machine. Or much of anything.

Here are the good things about this hotel: The TV works.|Here are the bad things about this hotel: Driving up, the parking lot is full of huge pot holes. We were initially assigned to a room that had not been cleaned. The second room we were assigned had nominally been cleaned but had stray hairs remaining. It has a ground in dinginess that would require some updates to the furnishings and some fresh paint to fix. There was only one towel in a double occupancy room. The staff did bring up another set of towels. The toilet was not working correctly and ran all night. The faucet on the sink blasted water out the back. The ceiling over the window drips. The beds are creaky and sagging with hard, flat pillows. The bathroom was full or roaches and ants. There is a nice breakfast area in the lob

it was better than expected for the very fair price. I wasn't sure what to expect considering I was working from out of town. i just picked the cheapest hotel on the worst side of town. The only thing that I can complain about was the drug overdoses. One incident I saw a girl kick a door open and was yelling at the people in the room to give her CPR, they were too high to care that she was not breathing
