Newport Bay Motel

They weee fixing it up for the new owners and they needed some more time to make it perfect . Clean rooms comfortable beds slept great our room was a double queen a little undersized but still comfortable. The front needs to be cleaned up more but given time I do recommend this place.

To be quick , mold in our coffee, ended up throwing up breakfast, soon after being offered another free night caught a cockroach/another free room from a sweet lady, in the morning a lady came in screamed at us about calling the cops and telling us we lied about the cockroach said we probably saw it online and lied our way to another room ended up saying she was gonna call the cops and needed to get the f out refused to see the proof of the cockroach and then ended up finding out the lady who came up and gave us another free room didn’t even work there’s WTH didn’t get an apology or nothing // first time for everything right? Never going back even if I was broke :/ sad to say people who live there are super nice but WTH with the manger? Or was it the manger ? Have no idea at this point

Been living here for a while and it is terrible here. The staff is not the best. It’s dirty as heck. The place is infested with roaches. I’m surprised a health inspector hasn’t come here. If you want to stay in town, I’d suggest finding any other place than this.

We stayed at the Newport Bay Motel last weekend (while attending the annual Nesika Illahee Pow Wow on the Siletz Reservation). ❤️We love Newport Bay Motel! We couldn't believe we got the family room at such an affordable price. The motel is renovating at this time, but don't let that fool you! Go ahead and book a room! They have a lot to offer here. Although you may not see it advertised online, the motel does lay out a great spread when it comes to their continental breakfast! We were actually worried that the coffee would be terrible because as hotels and motels go it usually is, but not this time. It was delicious and we drank lots of it. They made our weekend! We stayed here one night and had a very nice & clean room. We were happy to see a larger refrigerator. Actully, I enjoyed this room more comparatively to a very nice inn we stayed at the night before in Cannon City. This room was very big, surprisingly. The lady at the desk was quirky but nice. We had to call that we were there at the front desk. It all worked out. If we ever come back again, I'd stayed there if we could get the same room. We are on vacation, traveling the 101 attractions on the coast.
