Overall great experience for the price. Very clean, breakfast provided and extremely quiet. They have gendered bathrooms which is nice, bathroom wasn’t busy. Comfy beds. Temperature was nice. Staff is kind. They have shampoo and body wash and even offer tooth brushes and razors. Things to keep in mind: -The beds are small, if you’re tall that might be an issue. I’m 5’6” and fit fine but if I was any taller I wouldn’t fit. -They don’t allow meat in the building. -They’re very serious about noise, after 9pm you can’t take any phone calls in rooms. -The pods are open air - so no ”ceiling” in your room. That’s why noise travels so easily. -There are several flights of stairs to climb, not accessible for anyone who has trouble walking. Really solid place for the price. I’d stay again.

If you're looking for a place in a good location that doesn't break the bank, this would be reasonable. But the rooms are so small and tight you can barely move.||Plus, you can hear every single little thing as the cubicles are so close together, and you can hear people's footsteps, coughing, and peoples' conversations in the common areas and bathroom. So if you want to get a good night sleep, this is not the place. I was lucky to have gone back to sleep, but I was woken up by so much noise (and I'm not talking about the noise that you would hear in the city like from sirens, cars, honking, and just overall city noise), but noise from my my room.||Plus I had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to my room. Perfect for solo traveling. Rooms are clean and comfortable, I had no problem falling asleep. The bed is small but I fit fine as a 5’5” person. I cant imagine traveling to NYC and not eating out every meal but if you’re on a budget, they do offer breakfast with delicious scones. The rooms are on the 4th and 5th floors- no elevator- doable if you’re moderately active but remember you have to walk up those stairs again if you plan on enjoying the nightlife.

Do not stay here. The only good thing is the location, everything else will disappoint you. The bathrooms are extremely small, heck the door to the bathroom can only be opened 30% of the way because the shower blocks it. The toilets are tiny and you DO NOT want to sit on them. Guys pee while standing over them. For the 4th floor where the men are, there 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 2 sinks for 23 "rooms" (more like pods). Not joking, in the morning you may have to wait for the toilets or sink. The ceiling is open and you can hear everything. Choose something a bit more expensive and further away. You will feel much better. Long island city has a few hotels that are 20min away and much more comfortable.

Super super worth it for a night. I just needed a safe place to crash near Penn station, and this was it. Everyone was very kind. The bed was clean. Only complaint is it was very warm at night and I couldn't find a way to turn the lamp off without also turning off the phone charger. Other than that, really great
