New Victorian Inn & Suites - Kearney

So I am pretty picky when getting a room for the night. I want good reviews and not gross. This superseded my expectations - especially for the price and staying with our animals. The gentleman who checked us in was so sweet. His name was Kern. Just set the mood for the whole experience, which was great. Very friendly and personable. It was quiet through the night and I slept good. The next morning at 445am, we were able to have breakfast! I had cereal and bIscuits and sausage gravy. Other choices were fruit, yogurt, pastries, and waffles. This is the only establishment that I have seen this at, which works perfrct as we like to get back on the road early. This is a great place to stay! |Reasonable pricing and it’s very cute. |Comfy beds, clean, quiet, many choices for breakfast with waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, etc along with juices and coffee. |Only negative is air/heating unit is loud and rattles but I use a white noise machine to help with that.|Would definitely stay here again!

Positive: Location Negative: Breakfast was very minimal with mostly processed prepackaged food. Price for offering experience.

Bedding was clean although we had to unmake the bed because the mattress pad was flipped with the vinyl side up to make it very uncomfortable and sleeping. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed. It was very dirty and the bathroom floor should have been mopped better. AC/fan worked great. As did small microwave and fridge and very large TV. parking was easy. There were a few green spaces to walk the dog. Some very accessible, fast food restaurants nearby

Kern was a life saver. I explained my situation and was checked in and in bed in no time. He was super accommodating and showed compassion. He is 100% an employee I would keep. I was able to get a good nite sleep before we had to hit the road in the morning. Kern is the reason I will come back to this location. The free breakfast also helps. Highly suggest this location to anyone with sleep in their eyes.
