Holiday Inn Express Kearney by IHG

This is a nice clean hotel and very conveniently located off the interstate and near a gas station. The breakfast is very nice also. I paid $160 for my room, which is a bit steep, but I assume its due to the prime location. I'm moving so, I didn't really have a choice, but its inspired me to re-focus on my car-bed.

Our brother passed away and I had suggested to my sister to look into bereavement rates and book a block of rooms. The hotel worked with her to get us a rate. I called into the Kearney, NE location and the young man was so nice to us. When we arrived, the same young man again was very kind and offered to change our room from accessibility to a regular room. We were ok with what we had, but it was nice he made the effort. The room was spacious, clean, and allowed us peace and quiet during a very sad, emotional and unexpected schedule. Having ready-made breakfast also helped our schedule because we did not know how events would go and having it onsite was convenient as well as the space to eat/gather as a family which they accommodated completely was wonderful. Lovely stay in this newly renovated Holiday Inn Express. We always stay here when we drive to Utah from NY. It was very comfortable and clean. Only complaint - Fox News on in the breakfast room. They should find a neutral station, not one proven to lie to the public. If they weren't showing that station it would have been 5 stars.

We stayed here in early Nov. We had stopped in asked some questions and decided to check out other places. When we came back Josh (Joshua) was very friendly and very funny! He remembered us from the earlier stop by and we joked about that. He set us up with a great first floor room. He also recommended a dinner place it was great! Apologies, it's been a bit, I cannot remember the name of the place but I did leave a great review there too. We also asked as we do at all our hotel stays, what food defines your area and state. He recommended Runza, the runza sandwich did not disappoint. Thank you Josh/Joshua for your excellent customer service and friendly banter! You made our stay very enjoyable!

Great Hotel! It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially Josh who helped us with our reservation when I had made a booking error with the dates.
