Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kearney

Upon checkin we were told the elevator and wifi wasn’t working and were offered a different room with two queens on a lower floor. We kept our selection as I had chosen a King room, and wanted a little more room to enjoy sleeping as we share a queen at home. Despite trudging luggage up to the 4th floor via the stairs, everything was great. Super clean room, anti-fog, lighted mirrors, comfortable bed and nice warm shower. The breakfast had sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, as well as a great selection of cereals, oatmeal, and bread. The coffee was also great. No complaints, would stay here again even if I had to climb the stairs. We could all use more exercise, right?

The room was spacious and clean. The receptionist was delightful. I enjoyed dinner at the Nebraska Ale Works - right across the parking lot. Be sure to check out the world-class Museum of Nebraska Art and the trails in Cotton Mill Park.

Positive: This Days Inn surpassed our expectations. In the past, we have avoided this hotel brand because of less than positive experiences. However, positive reviews of this particular Days Inn persuaded us otherwise, and we were not disappointed!! Negative: ""

Extremely clean with no strange odors you get in most hotels, lol. The furniture was vinyl, which we much prefer to aged cloth. The breakfast had both hot and cold items, sufficient for our needs. Close to many of the Sandhill crane viewing spots, so we would absolutely and happily come back here again.

We agree with other reviews. This is not a 2 star, it is more like a 3 star. We typically stay at 3 star hotels and pay about $150-$200. We have travelled from GA to WY 3 times in the last year and have stayed at several hotels along the way. The 3 star hotels in Kearney did not have great reviews, but this 2 star hote did. So we decided to chance it and we are glad we did. We saved so much money and it was a wonderful place to stay. It is very clean, the staff are friendly, the breakfast has a good variety and is good. We recommend this hotel for sure and would stay again if ever we need to stay in Kearney.
