Navy Lodge North Island

What more can I say. It is simply the best Navy Lodge. Period. The best location, NAS North Island, San Diego adjacent to Dog Beach with the Hotel Del Coranado sharing the same shore a short distance away. Staff was amazing. Room was updated and clean. Grounds were immaculately kept. The free continental breakfast was amazing. Can you say value for your money?!! Congratulations! This military retiree and family will diffenitely be back! Well done indeed!

The whole experience was simply amazing just over a year ago my wife lost her leg and part of her recovery was going somewhere clean and safe. Being Canadian the staff welcomed us with open arms and took care of our every need we are already planning our next trip. Thank you

I’ll mostly let the photos speak for themselves. For about the price of a midrange Marriott off the throughway, we stayed in a first floor room with a full kitchen, comfy beds, and a patio from which that you could roll down the grass and straight to the beach. Breakfast was okay, and I’m gonna guess it’s wicked hard to keep those rooms clean (sand was everywhere when we checked in). But good grief, who cares, look at how lovely this was :)

A great place to stay at a great rate! They’ve really stepped up their game - almost resort/Hale Koa like. See pictures, it’s a beautiful place to stay! My only negatives are the room cleaning has been sporadic and the front desk computers have been down twice when I was the desk asking a question. And finally the breakfast only has hard boiled eggs everyday. Staying here for a week at least once it would be nice to have some alternative protein. The coffee is good! And the immediate access to the clean beautiful beach is worth millions!!

Katie at the front desk was so helpful in finding me another room after my original was having an issue. At first there was a misunderstanding made by another worker telling me there was a room for me when there were actually no rooms but she figured it out quickly and it was so nice that she cared to try to help me the best she could. She definitely made my day and I appreciate her working hard to make her guests happy. The rooms and location can’t be beat. And the grounds are beautiful. I have stayed here many times and it is always very nice and clean.
