My Place Hotel-Sioux Falls, SD

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable as expected. The carpet looked like new in my room. No squeaking of the bed when I moved in the bed here, haha. The front desk person when I checked in made me and another gentleman wait 10 minutes while she smoked her weed (I passed her in the car when I walked in and smelt it on her when she came in). Then she started to check in both of us at the same time and I know that when I swiped my card, the other person signed on my card. I will be checking my statement to make sure that I didn’t pay for his room also. No breakfast is served here but the rooms are set up with a full kitchen and there’s a food pantry to buy food to cook yourself. The location is in great proximity to Sioux Falls and Falls Park, only 4 miles away. I feel rested and r

Positive: Great hotel, clean, turned out to be in a perfect spot. Was an enjoyable experience. Negative: If I have to pick one thing, the toilet was slow, maybe a valve change because the shower had plenty of flow.

This place was absolutely awesome. From the moment that we stepped onto the property until we left, the staff exceeded our expectations. The Hotel cleanliness shined through and the amenities and location were stellar. I would highly recommend them for your traveling stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pillows were absolutely fluffy—some of the best we’ve had at a hotel. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved the extra blanket placed at the end of the bed—such a thoughtful touch. The coffee pot in the room was a big plus, and we appreciated all the little amenities provided. Everything felt welcoming and well cared for. Would definitely stay here again! And pet friendly.

No dishes, come prepared. Comfortable bed. Be prepared to be out at least an hour before checkout otherwise they will knock on your door. Even if you have do not disturb out. Maybe they’re use to guest over staying there welcome. Our room did smell like an old man! I had flash backs to working in assisted living facilities. I loved my folks I worked with but you know that smell of a must elderly man that almost never baths and just covers with cologne. That’s exactly what this room smelled and felt like. That scent was a bit thick! This was kind of leisure/business stay. I was in town for daughter's competition. I like a kitchen room so we can save a bit during comp season. So, not really a vacation. I am not a brand snob but I will not be trying this chain again.
