My Place Hotel-Fargo, ND

Beware of BED BUGS!!! Booked for 2 nights and only stayed one. After reports of bed bugs from 4 other guests of this hotel I did a thorough search of room 315 and found a live and a dead bed bug - see picture. After my son saw the bed bugs himself there was no way we were staying another night. Turns out it was too late. The bed bugs had got me. See 2nd picture for one of the bites I received. Yes, I received multiple bites and if you are wondering they are itchy. I called the hotel manager on Monday morning and asked for a refund and she said that they had a "3rd party" inspecting the room and wouldn't do refunds without corporate's approval. I was informed 2 days later that the company they paid to inspect the rooms didn't find any evidence of bed bugs in any of the 5 rooms that complai

I stayed at the My Place hotel while I was in town to see my son in the hospital. It was clean, and aesthetically appealing. I felt safe. The bed was not the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. But I would stay there again for sure!

People should be made aware of this. We stayed at this hotel as a hockey team. Five rooms had bed bugs. People were just moved around the hotel, and some left and were told they wouldn't receive a refund unless an assessment from their bug people found bugs. Wonder how those assessments are going to go. This place needs to be fumigated before allowing anyone to stay there. I also think that a hotel that has five rooms found in a weekend with bedbugs they should be notifying people arriving to stay of the situation. We also found glass under our mattress as we were looking for bed bugs. The floors appeared to have not been vacuumed in months. All in all, this has probably ruined the entire franchise for us. Did not read the most current reviews prior to staying here. My girlfriend checked in Friday night. January 16th. Woke up January 17th to find bed bugs. Turns out she was in room 315 as in the same room that a previous complaint was filed for. She has pictures of bed bugs that are timestamped and location stamped. Also the front desk. The polite person that was working at went and taken photos also. She was told she would be compensated but it could take up to several weeks. Clearly this place has an infestation of bed bugs. She had to move to a different hotel and with it being a busy weekend with tournaments going on the only thing she could find was $300 a night. I hope she's compensated in a timely manner. It's sad that this room was rented out and not thoroughly checked by hotel staff

hotel was terrible, found someone’s pissy shorts behind the bathroom door, hair all over the bed. no soap in teh shower. lady at the front desk was VERY RUDE. As we were leaving we bumped the door with the corner of our cart , HARDLY hitting it and it almost fell on top of my 5 year old son, the lady at the front desk started being VERY rude and saying she was gonna call the cops. As she realized they were at fault we sat and tried to wait for the cops as she tried to get us to leave. Knowing she was in the wrong. The “ceo” and front desk lady were absolutely terrible. this is my 3rd bad experience at this hotel.
