Moxy NYC Chelsea

The hotel is charming and ideally located, making it a wonderful choice for exploring the area. A special highlight of my stay was my housekeeper, Josefina, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Her level of care truly elevated the experience!!:) I would gladly return just because of her. The staff at the coffee shop and fromt desk were also exceptional. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are well maintained and clean. The only drawback was the noise from the rooftop music, which continued late into the night and made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, this may be something to consider. However, if you tend to sleep deeply, it likely won’t be an issue. Overall, a lovely stay with standout service

Had a lovely stay! The room was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in/out a breeze. Great location with easy access to local spots. Would definitely book again—highly recommend!

I spent my 26th birthday here and had an amazing time. The service was excellent, and they gave me and my group of eight friends free drinks when I checked in. There were special notes inside the room, which made me feel very special. The location is great, close enough to all the tourist spots and with easy access to the subway. The hotel decor and amenities are modern, and the rooftop bar is a lot of fun over the weekend. The hotel attracts a younger crowd, but it remains very quiet at night. The rooms are small, fitting a maximum of two people.

I had a lovely stay here. Check-in was warm and welcoming, and I was able to check in early, which I really appreciated. I wish that I knew the name of the receptionist that morning because she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well appointed, making it an easy place to settle in. I also liked having a café connected to the hotel that’s open to both guests and the public. The included $20 credit was a nice perk and perfect for a morning latte and pain au chocolat, which were both very enjoyable. The location is excellent as well—convenient to public transportation and easy to get around the city. Overall, a great stay and one I’d happily repeat.

I enjoyed my stay at the Moxy Chelsea very much. The room was tiny, but very well designed and clean. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. The views were stunning. I appreciated that there was no carpet, and, instead, the room has luxury vinyl “wood” floors. The rainy was shower was very nice with great flow and steaming hot water. I also appreciated the amour if counter space on the sink. All in all, the room was so well thought out for its size. I slept so comfortably. I enjoyed the location also. For this trip, I was spending time on Brooklyn and uptown, and I got around easily using public transit. I also walked to many destinations. Finally, I was pleased with the gym (and Covid protocols for using the gym) and the customer service in the hotel and in Cafe Feroce and Bar Feroce.
