Moxy Miami South Beach

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was amazing we had a great time and were able to use the amenities and it is in easy walking Distance to the beach and the strip. The last time we stayed ,which was just a few days ago, we were very disappointed. The entire reason we stay here was for the rooftop access as the rooms are small and not comfortable to stay in if you have more than 2 people. However, We love sitting up on the rooftop when the sun sets, Watching the cruise ships come and enjoying a couple drinks. Both nights we were there they had private events from 5 to 9 pm which are not only the best times to have access to the roof but also the open bar times. Maybe it’s my opinion but if you say you have a roof top area as a part of your amenities, it should not be closed

This is probably the worst stay I have experienced in any Marriott hotel within recent memory. I am lifetime platinum Bonvoy by the way..||We stayed for two nights prior to going on a cruise.. Two adults and one child in a room with two queen beds and not much else. The space was completely inadequate, with no closet, only a lattice, like structure on one of the walls, and no bureaus. There was only some cubby space under the foot of the beds. That was not easy to get to. There was absolutely no surface space to put anything on, just a small nightstand. We ended up placing some items on top of the suitcases. See pictures to illustrate.||The room was also not comfortable. The pillows were small and super firm, like they had been designed for a sofa, and the temperature could not be

Positive: Nothing was impressive about this experience. Negative: Very poor customer service in front desk. Hotel Management was very rude and dismissive. No place to work in the room or main floor lounge. Coffee bar was managed poorly. Water was not available for guests. Hotel wanted to charges $200 use meeting area

We had a lovely stay! The team are so kind (shout out to Stacy in particular for really going above and beyond with her customer service). There are pools in two locations so you can pretty much always lay in the sun no matter what time of day it is. We ordered food and drinks at the pool - really lovely! The complimentary chairs on the beach were very convenient. We also took advantage of the bikes (there were three available - first come first serve) and loved having that option to explore the city. The hotel is in a fantastic location - close to everything but not noisy. Great stay! We would definitely come back!

I loved everything about this place, except the expensive parking! The customer service was amazing. There are several areas to enjoy and have great vibes. The restaurant on the rooftop was delicious and have $9 margaritas that are a hit! The hotel offers complimentary water, bicycles, and chair/umbrella access on the beach. Unfortunately with inclement weather we did not have access to the rooftop pool. The room was very small, but the beds are very comfortable, it was quiet, and the water pressure and temperature were perfect! It's located in a great location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again!
