Mountainview Resort

We just spent 4 nights here on vacation over New Years. We travel extensively and wanted to go someplace we had never been before, so Jackman definitely fit the bill. I found this place through Airbnb, where it had great reviews and it was quite cheap, so I decided to book. We stayed in unit 2 on the first floor. It was listed as a "condo" on Airbnb, which was a bit misleading as it was really more of a hotel suite. On our first night here, the handle on our toilet broke and it would not flush. We contacted the staff, who said that nobody was available that evening, but that they could have maintenance come first thing in the morning (we were planning to sleep in). The only other option was to move us to another unit on the second floor (not ideal since we had our dogs with us). We

Resort is an older one. Unit and common areas were very clean. Unit living room furniture was very uncomfortable and needs updating. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was good and all appliances worked. Our view of the mountains was great. We were on the second floor. Lots of stairs no elevator. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had a cleaner put a little effort in before we sent family here to stay for the weekend, our family would've had a great time. We're halfway through October, and they literally had to take out the AC themselves, which had inches of lady bugs above it... The entire building was zooming with THOUSANDS of lady bugs, in which case, they literally had to walk around with a vacuum to suck up what they could. Turn the ceiling fan on, and there's literally strings of dust clumps flying through the air, with the lady bugs, for hours..the amount of cobwebs on the WALLS and porch, is insane. On the porch, you were literally walking through a "tunnel" surrounded by cobwebs -pictures can't even show the amount of cobwebs. I will never send family here again. Location-perfect.

Stayed with my girlfriend for Valentines Day weekend. We had a great time. Indoor pool was heated, hot tub was really nice, both were very well maintained and clean. We didn't even have to leave the resort to have fun. The rooms were also clean and well maintained, and I loved that they had a pool table. That was a nice touch. I saw a lot of people with snowmobiles and it seemed like a nice place with plenty of room for that kind of stuff. It's up on a mountain, so driving in and out was a little sketchy, but that's to be expected. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive if you're going in the winter especially. Outside of the resort, the police in town are definitely wary of outsiders. I got pulled over twice in 2 days but ultimately no harm done and no tickets once they realized that we actual

Great cabin in the woods experience. Nice pools and hot tub at an incredible value. Would stay here again without hesitation. TV wasn’t good quality but that doesn’t matter out here. Internet was a little slower as well but we were able to stream of our fire stick while unwinding after a day full of adventure.
