Moose Lodge

We were delighted to spend a few nights at Moose Lodge (in the Canoe Cabin) on our road trip from Quebec City to Portland. The cabin was picture-perfect-- spotlessly clean, comfortable, and cozy, nestled in a wooded corner of Maine. We enjoyed the twice-daily visits from the freight train (not inordinately loud!). Ed and Peggy truly went above and beyond for us and ensured we had a great time canoeing and kayaking on the beautiful nearby "pond" (really more of a lake!). The flower garden was an unexpected treat as well. We hope to return soon.

Peggy was great! She was very responsive and everything was smooth. The cabin was lovely and exceeded our expectations! You'll be pleasantly surprised! It provided the perfect balance between a modern and vintage cabin feel! The place was clean and the bedding was top quality. I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend a friend!

My husband and I just finished a week at the Canoe Cabin at Moose Lodge and we had a wonderful time. Ed and Peggy have put so much thought and consideration into the set up of the cabin that we were blown away with how at home we felt. After riding the trails all day, and mostly in the rain, it was nice to know once we got back to our cabin that we had all the comforts of home. I can't say enough positives about the owners and the cabin. We won't be staying anywhere else when we visit Jackman again. Do yourself a favor and book yourself at the Moose Lodge. We can't wait to go back!!

This lodge is run by Ed and Peggy, who are absolutely wonderful and truly are there to serve. They have built cabins that have all the amenities and frankly, are some of the more upscale wooden cabins we have stayed in. Rooms are well appointed and beyond the basics have all the necessary kitchen equipment for cooking, whether it be for a few days to a few weeks. But beyond that it's the little.touches that make this place great - it's clear this is well run operation with owners who really care. Highly recommended.

These cabins are wicked cozy . Very very clean and comfortable. And greeted by a very pleasant owner. This will for sure become a regular for snowmobiling. As I think about places in Jackman and near by , I'm not sure that I can remember any finer comfortable rooms in the area .
