Bulldog Camps & Lodge

Incredible place! Highly recommended if you're looking to go remote, but have some conveniences of home. We went for the eclipse in 2024. They opened earlier in the season than usual so we could attend. The area was beautiful, we saw a moose. Went on snowy hikes and saw so many animal tracks. 5 of us stayed in the old lodge and it was very warm and cozy, the food they served was very tasty and the staff/owner were as hospitable as it gets. Thanks for having us!

With our kids away at sleepaway camp, my husband and I escaped to Bulldog Camps for a 4-night stay, which was highly recommended to us by a friend. Beautiful, serene, relaxing and fun. We kayaked, SUPed, hiked, explored the lake, fished the lake with the owner. My husband even mountain-biked on the logging road into the camp from the main road. Our cabin was cozy and in excellent shape. Darren (owner/host) cooked all of our meals for us -- he's an excellent cook. Seriously good food. Enjoyed good conversations with him and other staff and other guests. We found Darren and staff to be helpful and responsive (we needed help with gassing up one of the motorboats). Two regrets: Not using the sauna and not swinging off the rope swing! What were we thinking? Should have done both. Oh well

We loved our stay at Bulldog and the Million Dollar views! The lake is pristine, cabins are clean and offer an unique rustic experience that is timeless. Darren and the staff are helpful and super friendly. The food is great, big country breakfast with homemade toast is amazing. The view of the full moon coming over the mountains reflecting on the lake was stunning. We cant wait to get back to Bulldog soon.

We stopped by Bulldog Camp for a visit while ATVing out of the Jackman Maine area. The lodge is beautifully hand built, has a bar and is where meals are served. The cabins are well maintained and nicely situated. There are really no words to describe the serenity and the view of being on that lake surrounded by mountains. Its an amazing place and planning to make another trip to stay there.

I booked a bear hunt and there were no active bates. Camping here is great. Bear hunting is not there game.
