Motel San Diego

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The manager was incredibly welcoming and eager to assist with anything I needed. The rooms were meticulously clean, allowing for a serene atmosphere, and I slept soundly, undisturbed by any external noise. What truly stood out was the convenience of the location—everything was just a stone's throw away, from delightful restaurants and vibrant markets to lively bars, making it easy to explore and enjoy the neighborhood.

Fastest check in and out I've ever had, which I was concerned about since it's never used super.com for a reservation lol. The motel was built in the 20s, so the bathroom is small (if that's an issue for you) and there are certainly moments where it's showing it's age. That being said, service is friendly, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and the pillows fluffy, and the price is exceptionally good. The location is convenient and it's sunken down from the road so you don't get much road noise either. Roku tvs are a nice touch too. I'm certain I'll be back.

The room was gross, not clean at all. Felt incredibly unsafe. We left for the day came back and our room had been broken into and lots of valuables stolen. We spoke to the man at reception about this and he offered to move us to a different room, we watched the cctv footage for the time we were out and saw no one but the cleaner go in our front door so was either her or someone in the window! Either way, was a horrible experience and we left as soon as we could ended spending a fortune on another hotel at such short notice but was so happy to be gone from there!

I love this motel. I stayed here for 4 months while I was looking for an apartment. My room was super nice, clean, spacious, comfortable. The owners are amazing people. They made me feel totally comfortable, and not a burden for staying so long. Before finding this place, I stayed at a few different cheap hotels around San Diego. Nothing else compares to the quality for the price, not even close. I was so grateful to find such a wonderful, down to earth, family environment.

Great value place. You get AC, fridge, microwave, bed, shower and couple outlets. Almost everything worked except one missing bulb. Liked the simple interior
