Motel Montreal

We had a great time at Motel Montreal. The bathroom and room were super clean, very friendly staff, and the AC wasn't as loud as the tracalaco. Good location. We loved Lake George.

The rooms are not bad. 3 out of 5 stars. The parking is horrible. First we could not get out of the parking lot because they allowed a pickup truck with a paddle boat sticking out blocking any vehicle from getting out of the parking lot. The only way out is to go the wrong way on a one way street. Major safety hazard!! When we finally got out of the parking lot we returned to did there were not parking spots available because they don’t issue parking passes and the lot is full of vehicles whose owners are not staying on the property. Simply parked and walked downtown. The office told us to try to “park down the street somewhere.” How about absolutely not! I paid to stay at the motel why should I be expected to park off properly. After having a negative experience booking through a third party app(hotel tonight). I went to the hotel because i was nearby and spoke to someone at the front desk if they can cancel the reservation. I was told to go through the third party. I called the third party and they gave me the run around and told me to call the hotel. Once again I talked to someone at the hotel and was given a number to call. After a couple attempts to call the number. I was told to text message the number due to “large volume of calls”. Texting was useless because as soon as I explained the situation and asked if a refund was possible. I was ghosted.

Positive: Location Negative: 10 minutes before we were to arrive we got a text message that we needed to have a $50 cash deposit. Then on day two we had no hot water and the following morning no hot water and we text messaged with no reply

Positive: Location and price Negative: I had 2 rooms and 1 of the rooms had an electrical issue that we reported where the lights would randomly flicker and was told someone would come to look into it and never came. Also requested housekeeping and only received clean towels once.
