Motel 6 Uvalde, TX

A sub-par hotel at a decent location in town. We had reserved over the phone a disabled first floor room. We confirmed all aspects of the reservation. Cost of $123.84. When we arrived they offered us a second floor non disabled room. When showed our already paid for disabled first floor reservation the desk clerk insisted on an additional $20 fee to accommodate us. We were forced too accept the second floor room and I, the disabled individual, just had to deal with it. I very very carefully made my way up the stairs, eventually. The room was large. And relatively clean. Some paint was peeling. Especially above the shower head. Overall the room itself was decent. Bed was clean, sheets were too. It was comfortable enough to sleep on. Nice place to stay. Polite on-site mgmt. Clean quiet room. Highly recommend staying here very reasonably priced. Safe area.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Was hot air conditioning not working correctly and the bathroom was dirty already use bath soap by recent customer did not stay we left.. very disappointed

I don’t usually write reviews but you need to know this place is terrible! Stayed one night and that was more than enough. Bathroom light wasn’t working in the first room. Second room had a dirty and clogged bathroom sink that I thought I could rinse out but no. Someone had barfed in the sink and the drain was clogged! Went for a third room and the girl said “Oh, I remember hearing the sink was clogged.” Really? And you gave it to me? Third room was grungy with mold and dirt on the walls. I saw no renovations happening so it’ll probably be that way for quite a while.

The rooms had ac but I had to use my own fan to cool down enough to sleep. Had it not been a last minute trip we definitely would have found a better place. It was cheap at least but I would spend the extra for better.
