Motel 6 Troy, AL

We drove for 10 hours and stopped at this 82 a night motel. If it had a comfortable bed, working toilet, and was CLEAN, I'd be happy. Well, it had none of the above. We were really tired and just wanted to sleep - drove through a bad storm with low visibility. Very uncomfortable beds. Owners - get new beds! Whoever 'cleans' needs to be fired immediately! There was yellow stuff on door, mold on walls, hairs on floor! We couldn't take showers as it was so dirty and we were afraid they never cleaned it. OWNERS - clean your rooms! Only 2 towels,2 washcloths, 1 hand towel. Toilet was messed up, water wouldn't go down so had to throw tp in trash can. The only good thing was the microwave and refrigerator, which we didn't need for this quick sleep and leave stay. It had a small table and 2 cha

My husband and I was traveling through Alabama to get to home in Minnesota. We had two dogs with us, and booked the night on that day. Had no problems when we got in around 8 o’clock in the evening, we got a good room and where we could park with our travel trailer was very close. Which is always important to keep an eye on everything.|The room was clean, the bathroom/shower was big for a shower. |Which is very nice. |Hard floors, and the beds were sleepable. | |If you like a cheap, clean room, This will be it. |And there was A lot of traffic going by, but inside I never heard anything.||The only thing that I wish they would have was a coffee pot for coffee because I do not have a continental breakfast that I was aware of. ||But otherwise, I would stay at this motel again. Amazing service. We booked a room at the days inn and had to leave due to the crazy amount of roaches. We called motel 6 at 3:30 am and they got us two rooms right next to each other. Room was clean sheets were clean everything was clean bed was very comfy. We were all able to actually sleep!

Rooms were clean. Bed are older spring beds. Good for a one night stay. Got in late left early. Was very quiet. Air conditioner needs updates not very cool and we had 68 degrees.

Room was clean and comfy with two full beds and a decent amount of space. I was surprised it had a nice table for two and a microwave and larger size compact fridge considering it is a budget hotel. Stayed one night passing through on the way to Florida. Staff was courteous and friendly. Never stayed in Motel 6 before, but always liked the commercials with Tom Bodett... "and we'll leave the light on for you."
