Hampton Inn Troy

Location wise it was good for us. No complaints there. But price wise, I was given the final price upon making my reservation. When I went to check out and got my receipt there was a charge of almost $5 per day. I can understand if this was a big city and it was like a parking garage or something but its outrageous to charge that much per day for parking, especially when we were only there to sleep at night. The cleanliness of the room was ok. Some of the towels and wash rags we got were stained. The bedding cover for the pull out couch had some staining. The water for the shower was only Lukewarm. I was told it was policy for that even though the sink water got pretty hot. They have these very small trash cans that cant even keep the trash. We had to buy our own trash bags because

First time staying at this Hampton Inn and Suites in Troy, Alabama. We enjoyed this location for our stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. The room had very comfortable beds and the bathroom was very clean as well. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a good assortment of hot foods and juices.

First of all I booked my room on Priceline, and when I arrived at the property I was asked for a card for incidentals which was fine but the girl accidentally charged my card twice, the next day the front desk manager Kayla made it right, but the next day after I left I started see all kinds of charges and refunds the following day I had 3 charges posted not pending for a total of $260.80 Mistakes happen but they are denying it and I have proof from my bank and I even emailed tne manager this morning with the proof. She hung up on me and now refusing to take my calls.

Positive: Nothing Negative: They charged my card $260.80 after I left the property.

Hotels.com rate a 1 did not send the correct confirmation number so it took me over an hour to check in, but the feont deak was nice. Troy only has a few places to stay, we were here overnight for a Softball camp. The property is clean on the outside, front desk very nice, breakfast was good, rooms ok. Lamps had alot of desk on them, shower rust spots, light fixture rust, both beds had this metal piece sticking out, but one was just way worse than the other, water issues day of check out! Room nice size. Positive note breakfast was above average bacon, omelets, waffles, etc... Property has a pool and office space. This property need some updates!
