Motel 6 Sulphur Springs, TX

I don’t recommend any of the rooms in the single level building if you can help it. I’ve stayed in 2 of the rooms in that building and both of them the dead bolt didn’t latch without me having to pick up the whole door while turning the latch. This last trip my toilet also didn’t flush without me having to open the back and pulling the chain myself. Other than that one building, I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are good sized I wish the bathtub was a little wider, but I like that they put bed bug covers on all mattresses and pillows. I have to travel to Greenville twice a month and I always stay at Motel 6-Sulphur Springs. I love the staff, they are amazing. The coffee in the morning is delicious. Located right off the highway but you really can't hear the cars at night. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. It's in the newer modern style of motel 6 rooms. This room was super clean amd the beds were very comfortable. Don't judge the place by how it looks on the outside!

If I could give zero stars I would!! I don’t even know where to begin I am SO disappointed ! After we had a great experience at a motel 6 in Amarillo , I had high hopes for this one! But not only is there never someone at the counter , they are SO rude . Especially the older guy! We ended up having to extend our stay ( even tho we really didn’t want to) . When I went in after it took him forever to come to the front , he was VERY rude , I don’t think he ever learned to smile or greet properly , and tried to overcharge me nearly $70 . It wasn’t until my husband came in and showed him the total in the app that he was ok with it! I’ve heard this from others too that he likes to overcharge you! But that’s not even the worst of it! Positive: "" Negative: Ceiling needed repair

Two night stay and had to kill at least a dozen crickets!! Door had gaps along bottom and side so no wonder we had so many crickets, we even put a towel along the bottom of the door!! !! Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were extremely flat! Management/owner wasn't friendly at all. Don't have "Do Not Disturb" signs to hang on door!! Could hear Interstate traffic all night. Would not recommend.
