Motel 6 Santa Rosa, CA - North

Room was cleaner than most motel 6, super 8 etc but the first room we were given didn’t have any power. The second room we got the main light didn’t work but we had travelled 17 hours that day so we took it. When we arrived no one was at the front desk. We waited around 15 minutes before an employee came and he barely said a word to us, gave us a room with no power, and just seemed completely disinterested. The place was super cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. Beds were uncomfortable but not the worst. Sheets were clean, pillows were clean, a couple small spiders in the room but no other bugs. It had a mini fridge and microwave which was cool. Overall it was fine for a one night stay but any longer and it would have been a rough stay.

Terrible experience all together. The price they advertise on Google differed by about $28 from what I paid. Had I not been so tired from a late flight in I would not have stayed here after seeing the room. I get it, it's a motel 6, but they have no business charging about $100 for the room I stayed in. They seem to do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to maintaining the rooms. The fact that I felt the need to photograph everything before hand to avoid being charged for any of this should be a tell tale sign. Not sure the room was even cleaned prior to my arrival. Entered the room and was greeted by not 1, but 2 spiderwebs in the room, along with a spider on the wall. The pillow cases and towels had visible stains left in them. My experience was great!!! The front desk ladies were all very nice and professional. The room surprised me. I got a double queen and it was very spacious and very clean! No dirtiness I could spot. Comfy beds. Big TV, nice desk for my laptop, and even a mini fridge. The lights were warm and inviting not harsh. The shower had great pressure and was hot. The sheets and towels were clean. The windows and door felt secure. What else could you ask for only $100! I’ve used this motel in the past and can confidently say it’s gotten much better over the last few months. I had a wonderful stay. Thanks to all the staff!

I stay a lot of Motel 6’s, this is the worst. The only place as bad is the other Motel 6 right down the street. Gross. Disgusting. Not safe. Bed bugs, trash, hair, holes in sheets. Stunk if cigarettes. Gang members and drug dealers lurking in the parking lot. Super loud, door didn’t close all the way, lights didn’t work. Left after 15min. Front desk showed me two other rooms that were just as bad and then refused to give me a refund but my credit card approved the chargeback. The 5 star reviews here are totally bogus. This place should be shut down.
