Motel 6 Rothschild, WI

Stayed overnight here with family of 4 after a long drive from Oshkosh. Was greeted by friendly front desk attendant who quickly checked us in to our room. The room was a spacious 2 queen bedroom. The only issue we had with the room was a noisy air conditioner. Other than that, the room was adequate and plowed for a decent nice sleep. Pool was closed, assuming for COVID. Coffee in the am was good, and front desk attendant very accommodating.

Positive: The staff Negative: I don't like it they changed my credit car 50 dollars extra and they never did that before

I have stayed at alot of places and this is by far the worst experience ever. We had an issue with our room and they were not accommodating at all all they offered was 10 off our stay and informed us that we could take another room in few hours. They brushed aside the issue and weren't apologetic at all!!! Finding drugs in your bathroom is a Very big deal and when we told them that we're in recovery and got rid of it by cleaning the counter they said we should of kept it for proof . I'm disgusted with the whole situation and then to top it off they told us to leave. Don't waste your time or money on this place. Your better off staying in your vehicle.

We requested a handicap room and when we checked in, it turns out the handicap room is the furthest room from the front desk. However, the is one handicap parking space outside the back door to the hotel - which is not secured/locked at night. The handicap room barely meets the requirements for being called handicapped - the bathtub is too high for a person with a disability to lift their legs up over the edges. There were bars installed and a handicap chair in the bathroom and there was more room to maneuver a wheel chair but the sink is also at normal height and could pose a problem. The refrigerator did not work so had to use our cooler with ice to store medicines. It was warm even though we set it on the highest cold setting. It is close to a shopping center and a couple of restauran

So sad that people have to be mean and call people's names. Please be alert if you left a $50 deposit and you go to check out The maid will slip-in trash your room tell the manager she believes her she believes her because they're related. And you will not receive your $50 back this has happened on many occasions at this particular motel 6 in Rothschild
