Motel 6 Rosemead, CA - Los Angeles

I have never wrote a bad review in my life, this place unfortunately will be my first and hopefully last. Upon arrival on 10/11/25 I checked in 20 minutes before 3pm, was not greeted very nicely like i was interrupting or shouldn’t be there- I got a “checking in need your ID” and complete silence for 5 minutes. The lady gave me the room key and that was it. Upon parking my car while getting my bags out to go to the room, 3 men approached asking for jumper cables, food, water, money- I declined and apologized while they continued to make sexual remarks towards me. I was uncomfortable as I was out of state, a female by myself and now they know my vehicle and my room. I put my bags back in the car and went to the front desk and spoke with a different lady Agrid (idk how to spell it) to ask to

Nice location and clean inside. Staff was friendly and it felt fine for a short stay. The street noise is obvious. I paid what I deserved, so I can’t really complain about the mattress 😅.

I'm usually a hotel snob. I pay whatever for 5 star hotels. But for a quick trip to do a couple YouTube videos for my Channel, I stayed here. The reason why is I heard Rosemead was a safe area in LA and it was close to the restaurants I was reviewing. ||The good: The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the freeway entrance. There's a gas station, Denny's, and a buffet all within the same parking lot and there is a lot of parking available. The area is safe. There is a mall within walking distance. The ladies inside the front desk are really nice. ||The bad: the rooms look rough. Not the cleanest. The clientele mind their own business and seem like ok people but just down on their luck. A lot of people with pets and people that smoke stay here. Maybe because there's no rules. ||

Nice place to stay with swimming pool. Close to the place where I want to visit. Near petrol station and Walmart is near by. Overall with price. It will be great if electric kettle will be provided in room.

My stay here has been phenomenal and it’s all due to the 2nd shift staff here primarily Ms. Stephanie! She went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and our stay was a comfortable one. I will definitely be coming back here to stay the next time I’m in town!
