Friendly Inn

i stayed here once a few years ago with a friend of mine. it's fine, it's exactly what you think it is. ppl need a place to vibe and this is that place. i mostly am leaving this review bc the responses from the staff to other peoples' reviews are amazing lol keep it up :)

Great place to stay,they where very friendly and helpfull, Rooms are big, and clean the place is||in a area where everything I needed was within walking distance, there are many different places to eat,& shop, like Jims Burgers, Panda Express, Walmart, Montebello Mall , Jack in the Box, Burger King, and many more,,..the staff at the motel had no trouble giving me xtra if I asked, (towles,soap,ice, ect..)Rates where cheaper then any of the places in the area...

Came to get a room for two days literally so disgusting the walls covered in stains and for the housekeeper to say the guest shouldn’t bring hot foods?! Excuse me that’s your job, scrub the wall sweep behind and beneath furniture there should be no excuse as to why there are dead roaches under the bed and dressers, toilets have horrible pressure and sink doesn’t drain also was denied towels because they ran out but I would assume they need to be washing constantly just in case anything needs to be replaced. Don’t come here save your money or go to the Garvey inn instead clean rooms/ breakfast and same price! $80

The office staff is absolutely incredible. They are most helpful. The mantance guys are also very caring and ready to fix all that you need.

I’ll start with the good: My ex and I were homeless for a few months and it was cheaper to stay here than anywhere else. Also, the staff were friendly. Wendy and Rene were super sweet and they’d help you fix almost any problem. Also, the two maintenance men are literally the sweetest peoplein the whole world. They even went out of their way to help my ex and I multiple times. HOWEVER; I’d still recommend that you don’t stay h! First off: if you’re there for more than a month (which isn’t most people) they have you move to another room roughly every 4 weeks. Also, none of the rooms have microwaves, there is only 1 communal microwave, which is in the lobby, which closes at 10 pm and sometimes even earlier. The rooms were absolutely DISGUSTING!
