Motel 6 Red Bluff, CA

Location and service were good. Room was clean. But there is only one ceiling light fixture in the room. No lamps on the side tables on either side of the bed. So very inconvenient. Pillows are flat and need to be replaced. Shower was very small and awkward. Tv is small and mounted high on the wall and difficult to view as it’s far from the bed. No dresser to organize clothes on or in. But did have a small dining table with 2 chairs, small refrigerator and microwave. Was ok for one night but will not stay here again. They need some serious upgrades.

Positive: Price, nice manager, new flooring, good location, heat worked well, cute chairs, large room, quiet, coffee in the lobby, fridge Negative: Batteries in remote were dead, wi-fi did not work, bed sagged in the middle, only 2 pillows that were paper thin, thinnest of coverlets, utilitarian with no art and most furniture attached to wall, no drawers, no tissue, strong urine smell

Positive: The working ice machine was most welcome! Room space was tight, but adequate. Well lit, but would benefit from indirect lights, too. Negative: Tired bed linen lacked the crisp texture of truly clean sheets. This motel looks like it needs a facelift.

Used booking to book a room. Mind you the same family owns all the local hotels so good luck! Booking charged my card even though booking says it won't charge your card until you arrive. On top of that the hotel refused to rent me a room and did not refund me the charge on my debit card. So not only did this hotel do me dirty 🙃 so did booking.com

We are a family of 3 and we visited Red Bluff for the rodeo and stayed at Motel 6 for 2 nights. The room was basic but clean had everything we needed. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend to others looking for lower priced accommodation. Free coffee in the morning....but no tea so my husband missed out!
