Motel 6 Pooler, GA - Savannah Airport

Do not stay here. Thought this would be a convenient place to stay close to the airport before an early morning flight. The rooms are old, run down, and dirty. The toilet seat was scratched up, the bathroom floor was sticky and the toilet paper holder rusty. I’ve used nicer gas station bathrooms. The floors in the room were sticky. There were people yelling outside our room. I got the sense people live here full time. I did not feel safe here. There are a lot of hotels in the area, even if you have to spend a little extra money it will be well worth it.

I actually had two experiences with this motel. The first time I came to the hotel I had to wait for the receptionist and her friend to finish their conversation which went on to the point where it's unprofessional. I am not the one to pick at every situation cuz I understand that people are human but it was rude. Then the next morning I wake up to get coffee and instead I was greeted to a table full of about six workers and female maids and they were talking about very unprofessional conversations and there was no coffee. I was told that there wasn't any coffee and they were looking for coffee. They didn't even clean up. If there's no coffee okay I can understand that, but at least clean up the pots and station. Even after the first experience I still try to give them a second try because

Stayed a week while waiting for my daughter’s apartment to be ready for move in.  Not the cleanest room. Wear socks!  Floor even got my socks dirty and it was laminate.  Bathroom dirty behind door and had to ask a number of times and numerous people for towels.  Everyone was pleasant. It was a functional room.  Stayed with two dogs.  The dog “park” area was over grown and had piles of poop everywhere.  No attempt to keep it tidy at all.  If it wasn’t for the convenience we would have found another place for sure.

I always get a bottom floor and only stay a couple nights when o first come in town. The staff is amazing and as long as you pay late fees they don’t trip about early and late check outs which is great for me because I travel so much. This past trip took everything out of me and I slept all weekend and the staff respected my peace. I know it’s not the nicest looking place on the outside but the room I have is always clean I never had a bug going on 6 years visiting and this is my go to for sleep and privacy when I come into town there no hassles checking in and I always try to be nice to the front desk lady who seems to always be to work and from what I see a mother of children In school it’s nice to see her smiling as I come and go she is a good role model and it you can see the positiv

I stayed here because we found it on the fly as we were passing. We didn't look up reviews or anything because it was late. First take was nice seeing the building, but after waiting for someone to come to the desk for checking in and seeing the staff, inside lobby and then room, wow, so sad. We stayed to give it a try becasue we were extremley tired. Yes all other reviews are accurate. Dirty floors causing your feet to litterally get black in a few minutes of walking, roaches, loud poeple arguing at night. Rooms are extremely old and need everything to be redone. People hanging out all hours of the night. Staff that doesn't care, Especially a young pregnant woman at the front desk. Didn't care about anything you asked. I even heard people talking about possibly breaking into my truck at 3
