Motel 6 Palm Springs, CA - East - Palm Canyon

Needing an affordable place for a few weeks between homes, I was very lucky to find this Motel 6. From the start, the desk staff were friendly and personable. The General Manager, Juan, was especially helpful—you can tell he genuinely cares about the property, from upkeep to overall guest experience. My room was very clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping staff were attentive and friendly. During my stay I had two minor maintenance issues, and both times Philippe was at my door within one minute to fix them—no exaggeration. There’s also an all-night security guard on weekends who regularly patrols the property, which added an extra sense of comfort and safety. One small suggestion for Juan: since there’s no elevator, a dumbwaiter for housekeeping would make their work much easi

Unsafe Roach motel. Google is dishonest and suppresses my negative reviews. Avoid this place if you value your property and don’t like filth and roaches. 🪳 The new manager is a little Beatrice Yatxh also,… Someone of more melonaated complexion (usual suspects) had tried to break into the adjoining room (see pictures) before I got there - they never fixed the locks for the entire week. The manager doesn’t want to improve the gross site and instead puts anyone that complains on the “do not rent” list. Drug addict Fentanyl zombies hanging out making noise all night, twice complete strangers came up to me and asked me if I knew where to get “Fetty”. The location is fantastic centrally located and easy to get to anything that I need from food to entertainment. The rooms are basic but clean. Always fresh linens and towels. The staff at this location is absolutely wonderful. The night manager Kim went above and beyond to help us get checked into our room and make sure our reservation was right in addition to being friendly and making us feel at home. I Travel with the service animal and there is no issues about her being there , plenty of places safe for dogs to play and run. they made her feel at home as well. All in all was a great place to stay. Affordable and convenient. I would definitely recommend this location if you're in the area. Last minute deals and weekly rates as well 👍

I have been staying in this Motel 6 with my two kids and I have been treated so good here. The manager Juan has made me feel very safe and accommodated. The maids have always made me feel very comfortable and also they do a very good job with cleaning the rooms because they are very clean and neat. Everybody has always been very good and friendly with my kids also and as a parent that stands out a lot and its very appreciated. Also Matteo Has always done everything to make us feel safe and is always monitoring the hotel as he should for the guest and that speaks a lot about the workers. Amber has also been very helpful to me and my family and has great customer service I appreciate how everyone has treated me here and I will always choose this motel over all the other ones. Pros:- Location is pretty good: walkable to town and a nice landscape in the background.- It has a pool. It was a bit dirty, but a welcome inclusion. BYO towel.- Free parking.- The washing machines take credit card.Cons: - Major con was the receptionist who checked me in. He was probably the most unwelcoming hotel employee I've encountered. There was a problem with the door card reader for the room assigned to me and the man a) blamed me for deactivating the card magnet on the 30 metres to the room, b) wouldn't believe it was the card reader rather than the several recodes and replacement cards I tried, c) expected me to just use the room without closing the door, d) after pleading for a better outcome he huffily reallocated me to a less nice room. He only coded the new room for one night
