Motel 6 Ocala, FL - Conference Center

My stay at this Motel 6 was outstanding from start to finish. I travel often, and it’s rare to find a place where everything just works the way it should. JB deserves major recognition—he was attentive, patient, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. He handled every question with professionalism and genuine kindness, which made the whole experience feel effortless. The rest of the staff were just as impressive. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, upbeat, and clearly committed to making guests feel comfortable. It’s refreshing to see a team that takes pride in their work and treats people with respect. The rooms in the corporateproduced photos are not what you get, my room looked nothing like those. My room was very dirty. When I checked in the room the bed was made but the sheets were obviously dirty and hadn't been changed after the last guest, the towels were folded in the bathroom but they were also obviously used and dirty from the previous guest. There were roaches in the room as well. Despite being a non-smoking room, it reaked of cigarettes, vape, and weed. I counted the days and hours until it was time to check out. Checking out of this hotel gave me a good idea of how a person feels when they are released from prison.

Property is nice, rooms were clean. There is a big beautiful pool. The staff is amazing and friendly. We have stayed here a few times over the years. And it just seems to get better and better each time.

Positive: "" Negative: There was mold everywhere beds were wet, very creepy molded all over the shower and the wall smelled really bad. Do not go here.

-100 stars. Horrible. Went to check in at 3pm we were told by a rude lady at the desk that it wasn’t ready and she wasn’t sure when it would be. Came back at 10pm. Got into our room. Desk people were drinking beer. Room had mold and a lot of it. They covered it up by pushing the beds together to try and hide it. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Room reeked of cigarettes and mold. No shampoo. No conditioner. No towels. No phone. Argued with the people at the desk and told we would have to call management to get a refund. Drove from New York today and scrambled to find another hotel. Disgusting do NOT stay here. The people are rude and the rooms are disgusting. They should pay you to stay here.
