Motel 6 Lake City, FL - Medical Center

I want to preface this by saying we have been staying at budget motels the whole way down on our cross country move. This place is way nicer than any of the other places we've stayed at. Great service, the bed was comfy, and the room was MUCH LARGER than all the others. We had room to move around and so did our pups. Definitely recommend staying here if you need somewhere to rest your head on a trip. Walking distance to tons of restaurants (we went to longhorn steakhouse, it was delicious).

We booked a handicap room, when we arrived, they tried to put us in a second floor room. They apparently gave away our handicapped accessible room. My daughter is in a wheelchair and there were no elevators. The room had what looked like mice feces on a chair, which we don’t notice till the morning. Run down and dirty. However, staff were friendly and the residents who lived at the hotel seemed nice. No pet fees.

A fantastic hotel—truly an unbeatable value for the price. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the bathrooms feel fresh, modern, and well-designed. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the Samsung TVs make it easy to relax and unwind. Each room even includes a generously sized mini-fridge and a microwave, which is a huge convenience. There’s a cozy sitting area perfect for relaxing, as well as a functional desk if you need to catch up on work. The WiFi is fast, stable, and responsive. The staff deserves special praise—everyone is attentive, prompt, and genuinely pleasant. From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless. The motel is located in a very accesible and good location. Bedroom was huge!! No smells ; Not the newest hotel but very very clean and comfortable. Bed was clean and comfy. Manager and crew were SUPER nice and amicable, you can tell they care about the place and its customers. I’ll be coming back. Thank you Scott and team!!

I have to start off by saying that the experience started upon check in. Let's talk about Scott. Scott was the gentleman in the front office. He is personable, and very professional. Scott checked on us EVERY TIME that he saw us outside of our room. Not concerned. Just making sure that everything was satisfactorily and making sure that we didn't need anything. Exactly like we were at a 5 star hotel. Let's remember, this is a Motel 6 🏨. Now, let's talk about price in comparison to what you are staying in. You can tell this place was back sliding at some point,but has been rescued. Everywhere you look you can see the improvements that they are making. Remnants of yesterday's past are still visible in small areas ,but the improvements are more abundant to a point that they say we are working
