Motel 6 Lafayette, IN

We were tired and ready for bed. Called them for a room. First the never asked how to spell my name and put our reservation under a completely different name. Then we received a room that was full of cockroaches. When we complained, they move us two room down from where we were. Told us the room was just sprayed for the bugs. We went in and there were dead cockroaches on the floor. We left and we're told to call the manager later in the morning and she would give us a refund. We called and she would only give us a discount. Really??? Do go there!!!

This was the stay I’ve ever had. Came to the room and there were ZERO towels, wash cloths, etc. the bathroom was filthy. The refrigerator had a dead cockroach in it. I had to buy Lysol wipes to wipe everything down to feel like I could set my stuff down. My wipes were brown. The beds make an awful booming noise when ever you lay down, which you can hear from the surrounding rooms. When we told the front desk she said well we don’t have enough towels to go around so you usually have to come ask for them. How about that get disclosed at check-in?!?! I’ll never stay here again. I suggest you don’t either. The bathrooms were filthy! Dusty, crusty, and musty is how I’d describe this so called business.

This place was so nasty, terrible and stole my deposit. Saying it was taken cuz we took the towels and the comforter had a stain on it. After I was told it could take up to two weeks to get my deposit back. When they are the ones who give people staying there dirty towels and stained comforters. We ended up using our own towels as their towels were so stained and nasty. Why would I take stained and nasty towels when I had my own. I stayed there two weeks and had to ask for toilet paper and trash bags every day. I did not even bother asking for their nasty stained towels as we had our own. Then we get blamed for taking nasty stained towels that we did not even use and staining a comforter when we used our own bedding and towels as theirs were so dirty and nasty. Do not stay here or you will

If I could give them a zero I would, but the front desk lady literally told me we could not put the sheets on the floor and because they didn’t clean their rooms efficiently, and the floor was dirty. She took my deposit for her Sheet sheets getting dirty from being on the floor. The sheets never stayed on the bed in the first place and then have stains all over the actual mattress, which is absolutely disgusting. Front desk is rude and plus they have homeless people scouring up and down the walkways of the hotel. This place is overpriced and so messed up. They’re dirty and try to take money from people out of their deposit because they can’t clean their rooms efficiently. It’s disgusting.
