Motel 6 Indianapolis, IN - Southport

This place is absolutely a joke 😔 After staying here almost a week I called the last day to see if they would give me a little bit later check out then 11am since I'm a college student and needed a lil more time left on finishing my assignment and was told make sure we was out by 11:15am!!!! Literally I was going to start again but Cole back after 1pm but after this absolutely NOT EVER AGAIN! WE always make sure to clean it room and make sure it's nice and tidy for the cleaning lady and do have a pet and always make sure he's going out not taking it there in room!

Positive: Nothin it was nasty and we didn’t even stay there. Negative: There was blood in the walls, the room smelled like bug spray, the wall smelled like urine, the curtain was completely stained nasty!

I have stayed at this hotel repeatedly when making business trips to Indianapolis; it's conveniently located to downtown, inexpensive and reasonably safe and clean. ||I will never stay there again. I booked online, as is my habit, with a web rate. When I arrived on Tuesday night, they informed me my reservation had been cancelled, but they could give me a room for a higher rate. They gave me someone else's room. With their stuff in it. Then removed the stuff, called me back, and told me it was the wrong room (no kidding, I'd been saying that repeatedly). I encountered the VERY startled actual occupant of the room as I was leaving for the lobby, and he took it very well, considering. Beautiful view of the small lake out front. Very friendly staff. Had a luggage cart that is super helpful. Clean common spaces and clean room. Very spacious room. Only issue is not having a dresser or large table to put your bags on in the room. They have extra toiletries available if you ask. Very nice stay.

The room was of too be expected for the price .. Everytime I left my room I had too get new keys.. there was an annoying dog constantly yelping 2 doors down .. I was sick and went there too rest .. I can't say this was the worst place though .. I'll go again ..
