Motel 6 Houma, LA

Someone sleeping under the pavilion where quest are supposed to be able to go and hangout isn't even the biggest problem. The manager ran up on my pregnant wife yelling "no don't let your dogs pee there the tree is already dead" . Theyre no signs anywhere telling us where to go and she tells us to walk them on the other side of the gate on a lot for sale. The room is dirty and the building is full of noise from the staff screaming down the halls to dogs being left unattended barking all night and all day. They have spiders and ants all over. We haven't slept my wife and I are exhausted and we have 1 more night here and I'm dreading it. I'll never stay here again I'm not one to complain.

This is a budget hotel; as such there were limited amenities and I expected that. What pleasantly surprised me was the gracious attitude of Julie the front desk worker- she allowed a VERY early check in and was happy to recommend seafood restaurants around the area. My room was spotless and cleaned well. Beds with clean , fresh linens though the mattress is firm. The floors are a bit slippery but I am glad not to have carpeting The room was suitable for its price point and I would stay again. Not the motels fault but Google maps still has this listed under its former name , Claremont , and directs you to a locked BACK gate. Turn in FRONT of th Taco Bell and not on Dixie to get to the front check in area. The location was awkward but off the main road and very quiet, so that is a p

The motel was very clean as well as nice. Our check in reception (Clerk) morning shift was very polite, explained the room because I got confused on the room. She straightened it out and got the correct room. I apologize that the name was not on receipt. But she knows who she is. Thank you very much for everything. I would recommend Motel 6 to anyone.
