Candlewood Suites Houma by IHG

This place is wonderful. Enrollees is soup kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying. It's being updated as well. My updated room was perfect!

We loved our stay at this property. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds were not as comfortable as they could be but over all we had a very comfortable stay. What made really our stay was the staff. Everyone we came into contact with, no matter the time of day/night we’re always smiling and very nice. They were all willing to go above and beyond for us. The staff at this property really made our stay.

I stayed one night here. There were ants in my room! The person at the front desk, Kim promised points, but I never received the points. I tried calling back, but still never got the points. She was very nice. Overall everything else was ok. I’m very big on cleanliness, so the experience ruined my stay. I think ALL Candlewood Suites should be removed from IHG rewards. They ruin the rewards experience!

Reason for three stars is because the gym facility needs work. It's small which is fine but most of the stuff in there is broken in some form. The workout machine with cables is 90% unusable. The bike machines don't power on. The workout bench is broken. Rooms are clean and cleaning service is good. However the tub faucet dispenses a lot of water when shower is running which weakens shower pressure

Excellent place to stay when in Houma! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. So far, in the last 20 years...this has been the best place we've stayed when coming back home for visits! I highly recommend. This is the best place to stay when in Houma.
