Motel 6 Harrisburg, PA – Near PA Expo Center

TO ANYONE THINKING WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING HERE I WOULD NOT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. When me and my boyfriend first got here the bedding had holes and stains on it. The fridge had dead bugs in it. There was cracks in the bathroom door. Dirty floor never been swept or washed. The main door was little loose. We checked the bathroom it was nasty and had dirt on the sink. The second day after we got dinner I sat down on the bed and had a roach crawling on me. I would like some of my money for one night!!

This motel 6 was close to the river and next to Dunkin’ Donuts. The reception main doors were locked and the employee checked me in through a side teller window. I asked if the area was safe if he locked all the doors. The room was disgusting. The floors were dirty, the bedding had stains, and the bathroom sink was leaking underneath. The bathroom tub drained extremely slow. There was rust in many areas of the bathroom. The walkway outside the room door had a lot of leaves and cigarette butts. This was during the winter when the ground is covered in snow.

Positive: The only things that I liked about this motel/hotel was the price and the location. It was cheap and close to where I needed to be. Negative: The room was not the cleanest. It seemed that the staff did the bare minimum to make sure that the room was sanitary for people to use. It had a slight smell and there were bugs on the bed!

Motel 6 is usually a decent place. If the Motel 6 execs visited this place, they would rip the sign down. Questionable guests. Urine stains on bathroom floor. Old , stained bath towels. Mattress needed replaced. No breakfast despite advertised. Absolutely avoid.

This location is great if the Motel was much better. To start we asked for a room on the lower level because of an injury that kept me from using stairs, the staff ignored this request twice saying that I wouldn’t like the only room on the lower level because of the residents that live next door, I asked if I could see the room, my first take on the beds was the stains on the blankets, my daughter checked out the bathroom and said there were dead and alive cockroaches in the bathtub, as we were walking out there were two roaches crawling up the wall, we told the staff we were not staying there and she asked if I would like a refund I was like absolutely and with an attitude she said it would take 3-5 days for a refund, let’s hope that holds true. We ended up paying more for another hote
