Motel 6 Elk City, OK

Definitely should have looked at the room first. Hallway smelled like smoke and cat urine. The room had bad slow plumbing and a dead roach. Stained towels and cigarette burned sheets. Dogs barking in room nearby. Water came out dark in the shower. Ice machine and laundry were nonfunctional. Did not try the vending machine. The person working there was nice and it was dirt cheap. I would not stay here again.

Well while trekking out west decided to stop off for the night after seeing many 5 star reviews left within the past month I was shocked. They must have given the people that live there as a residence free rent to leave those. Upon entering was greeted and given the keywords. The overwhelming smell of old smoke and mildew permeating all sense of smell. Even for a non smoking room had several burn holes in linens and while pulling them back a roach let me know I disrupted his nap. Got 2 rooms one for us and one for someone else and both rooms were basically the same story. Just different locations of where we had killed roaches. Was very pleased with customer service from the women that checked us in Oct 8th she was super friendly greeted us as soon as we entered the motel. Motel room was super clean and i was impressed with the tub and toilet they both was super sparkly and very clean. outside of the motel was clean. i differently will stay at this location again next time i come traveling through. This location was quite and was not a bad price for our room

Because of a car wreck which left me with a broken foot in addition to other injuries, I needed a first-floor room. With short notice, in the middle of the night, this Motel 6 location came through for me. The room was simple, but clean, with microwave, fridge and DirectTV (free WiFi too). The bed was comfortable. The staff was also excellent, with Debbie and the night person (I regrettably forget her name), being very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this establishment to anyone. By the way, if you see a guy with a suave hat and a robe out front, that's the entertaining resident John. You can tell him Brady says hello.

First and foremost, don’t stay here, just don’t. It’s like $55 but I’d rather sleep in my car. The rooms smell like smoke no matter where you go cause all the ventilation is connected. The blankets have cigarette burns on them. The floor is filthy, the towels dirty, the furniture all stained. I guess the good thing was they had really good channels to watch on the TV, HBO, Cinemax, etc. I range 2 showers a day for as long as I can remember but I wasn’t going to do it here. I put some water in a bowl and it stayed cloudy for a very long time, don’t know why, maybe chlorine? There’s no where to walk to get something to eat, you’d have to drive to the Love’s truck stop to get subway. Seems like a couple of regulars live there.
