Motel 6 Cincinnati, OH - Central - Norwood

No bugs, just spiders. Yikes! My brief interaction with the people at the front desk was okay. My door had been busted in recently. There was a light showing around the door when it was shut. There had been a large hole and a couple small holes patched on a wall opposite the door. I am not 100% sure that they were not bullet holes.

This isn't motel 6. This is now Days Inn, and it's trash. I got 1 hand towel for 4 nights with 2 people. No wash cloths no towels. I had to buy my own towels. Luckily they didn't charge me a pet deposit because $75 per night is just CRAZY for this run down place. One guy was acting suspicious like he was about to steal my car. The beds were not very comfortable but better than some other hotels I stayed in on this trip. They also were nice about picking up my dog poop bags outside my room because I didn't see an outside trashcan to put them in. They were also quick to make me new room keys when I accidentally locked myself out...twice. I found this place as I was driving through from Tennessee to Connecticut. I didn't have a reservation. As this matters to some travelers, I will say that I was traveling solo and I felt safe about staying here. I had no problem getting a room, although it was about 10 p.m. and it was very affordably priced. The motel must have been recently sold or acquired, because the signage and room key was branded as Wyndham rather than Motel 6. I got a room on the ground floor. It was a very basic, but decent room. There was a bed, tv, table and air conditioner. Everything was in very good shape and was either new or refreshed. The air conditioner was a godsend after being on the road most of the day - I turned it down to 65 and it cooled room down fairly quickly. The bathroom was in similarly g

Room was nice and clean. Very comfortable bed. Drains were not great for the sink nor the shower. Fiancé said he had funky water around ankles and had to end his shower early because of that. But besides that everything was pretty good. Breakfast was weak they only have coffee, tea, and granola bars so don't be too eager to wake up early for breakfast.

Nice and quiet location. The bathroom is a little small so be mindful of that. Other than the bathroom, fairly nice hotel to stay at.
