Motel 6 Cedar City, UT

OK, people this is a Motel 6, not a five star hotel. So it had all of what I would expect clean beds., clean room rooms, clean linens, clean refrigerator, a television that worked, a window that opened, heat that was great. And all for under $50 a night. It was right off the highway so perfect for my stopover on a long cross-country drive. And my special things to the manager, Devon, who was not only friendly, polite, professional, but also got me truly hot water to make tea the evening I got in. And he did it all with a smile and a really kind way of being. I’ve been travelling for the last two years across several different continents, mostly staying in Airbnbs. And for comparison I would have to say that this particular Motal 6 is about the same level as many of the single night stays

Excellent and memorable Stay at Motel 6, Cedar City. We had a wonderful stay at Motel 6 in Cedar City. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and offered at a very reasonable rate, making it excellent value for money. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. Every floor has washing machine and cloth dryer also. Special thanks to Mr. Ashish and his family, who truly made us feel at home with their warm hospitality and personal care. The location is another big advantage—very convenient and close to major attractions such as Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and Brian Head Ski Resort, among others. While I respect that room service has a job to do, and many of rooms to clean, that does not mean a room attendant should be beating on my door numerous times trying to clean my room BEFORE check out time. Disrespectful as hell. If you can’t clean rooms fast enough, make checkout time earlier. It’s not my issue because you can’t do your job. Do better.

This Motel 6 is in a great location and it was clean...However, it needs a lot of work before it gets more stars on "Facilities". There were two plugs in the room and they were so stretched out, we were not able to charge anything. Everything just fell out of the outlets. The beds were really lumpy and leaning to one side. Other than that, it was ok.

This is actually the NICEST Motel 6 at which I've ever stayed.  It's consistent with Cedar City as a whole.  All of the staff was friendly. The grounds, lobby, halls and my room were almost perfectly clean.   The remote control was covered in a plastic BAGGY!  The room had AC, adequate lighting, wifi, a shower-tub combo, two chairs, small fridge and a luggage rack.   If I had to be nitpicky, I'd say the bed was older and soft, no comforter and the TV input had to be reset twice.   Other than that everything worked great.|||Motel 6 does NOT ever provide shampoo,  breakfast, or in-room microwaves nor do they advertise the latter two so what fair-minded person could complain.  However, there was a communal microwave in the lobby and they had coffee and EIGHT different kinds of tea in the morn
