Motel 6 Bakersfield, CA - East

I understand it is not a 5 star hotel for the price, and I have stayed in many other Motel 6 locations for short nights. This one is the worst. Very dirty rooms, and patches of paint all over the walls. The room smelled like cigarette, including the sheets. The smell was so strong my hair smelled like cigarette in the morning. Very OLD mattress. It felt like i was sleeping on the floor, the pillows were bad as well. I have stayed at other locations and they always have at least 4 pillows and decent beds. I was very disappointed.

My stay here was an absolute disaster. Checking in late at night, I was greeted by a room that looked like it hadn't been maintained in years: the smoke detector was dangling precariously from the ceiling, the walls were covered in scratches, the floor was filthy, and the shower was moldy. Even the air conditioner was missing its front panel. On top of the physical mess, the constant shouting and ruckus from other guests made it impossible to get any rest. I only stayed here to save a few bucks while passing through, but I deeply regret it. To make matters worse, I woke up in the middle of the night to find I was being bitten by bedbugs. I pulled back the sheets and was horrified to find clusters of black spots and old bloodstains scattered all over the mattress. There was way too much bl

To many homeless people hanging around getting in trash Cans all day and night asking for hand outs and cigarettes all day no ice machine always broken no one in the office half the time and when they are won't come help you! Prices are too high for all the problems, the owner doesn't do anything about the situation! Over all thumbs down!

Check in was fast, rooms were clean, at night was quiet the bed was so comfortable and theres places to eat at nearby and rates are cheap.

Positive: its proximity to the job I was doingroom did not gave carpet Negative: There was no daily maid service, first room did not lock, had to get another room, loud music all nite, a woman screaming around 1:30 am, people coming/going all nite, no fridge or microwave
